Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email address, phone number, company name, delivery date, headcount and anything you include in your message.

When you place an order on our ordering site, we collect your contact details, delivery address, order details and any dietary or delivery instructions.

When you pay by card, payment is processed by our payment provider — we do not store your full card details. Invoice and EFT payments are handled through our accounts team.

Like most websites, we also collect some information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How we use your information

To prepare quotes, take orders and deliver catering to you
To communicate with you about your order, delivery or account
To process payments and manage invoicing
To improve our menus, website and service
To let you know about seasonal menus or offers, where you'd reasonably expect us to — you can opt out at any time

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our advertising. These tools use cookies and may collect your IP address, device information and pages visited. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our site also embeds a Google Maps map and a Google reviews widget, which may set their own cookies when they load.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business: our online ordering and payment platform, our transactional email provider, delivery and logistics services, our accounting systems, and Google for the analytics and advertising described above. These providers only receive what they need to do their job.

Some of our service providers (such as Google) store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, the provider is bound by its own privacy obligations and safeguards.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Marketing

If we send you marketing emails, every message includes an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out any time by emailing sales@briskcatering.com.au — we'll action it promptly, and it won't affect your orders.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep order and invoicing records for as long as we're required to for tax and accounting purposes, and delete or de-identify information we no longer need.

Access and correction

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting sales@briskcatering.com.au or calling 1300 322 240. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Third-party links

Our site links to third-party websites, including our online ordering platform. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date below.
